We have arrived!

After three long days in the car we arrived at Grammy and Granpa's house in Pennsylvania.  Whew!  It was a long three days...approximately 26 hours driving time...and the kids did well.  There were moments of huge issue, but overall it was a good trip.

Today was our first adventure and we had a very fun day.  We went to my aunt and uncle's house to swim and to play in the creek.  Drew was not with us last year and I was excited to share the creek with him.  The boys and Drew loved it.  The girls were happy to play in the creek too, but the boys went exploring.  We saw minnows, crayfish, and lots of little mini swimming holes.

Before and after exploring we did a lot of swimming in the pole.  Aunt Judy and Uncle Gary have lots of tubes and a raft which make being in the pool lots of fun.  We also played with water balloons in the pool.  The kids loved that!  Who knew that a water balloon sinks and then returns to the top??!!  It was a great day!

After 5 hours in the sun we were over done and tired, but no one was pink anywhere!  Gotta love sunscreen!
