This was my last big week of training. The marathon is in 18 days and I feel ready. That is a little scary to admit, but I am very pleased with how my first marathon training has gone.
This past week I nailed my runs. My times were great. My legs performed despite being tired from the "simulator" run. I am now 51 miles closer to the starting line!
Despite my big fall yesterday my body is feeling good. My aches are minimal. My foot is awesome. I can hardly believe that it has healed with all the running I have done in the last three months!
It is time it taper and stay sane!
