Gumbo Cup---Emma was up first

Friday, January 27th Emma competed in her first out of state gymnastics meet...The Gumbo Cup!  Yes, we traveled to Louisiana for the meet.  She was so excited for two reasons.  One, it was an out of state meet.  Two, it was her last time to perform Level 3 routines.  She had one goal for the meet which was to score two 9's.  Being the proud momma I am, I have to say that she did AWESOME!

Emma scored two 9.150...one for vault and the other on beam.  She scored an 8.950 on floor, which was her highest score on floor all year!  Her bar score (8.375) was not great, but she was okay with the score.  Emma was so thrilled with her meet and so were we!

She placed third in her age group on the vault!

She placed 6th overall in her age group!

She just beamed all weekend!!

We are so proud of Emma and cannot wait to see what Level 4 holds for her!
