Easter Celebrations

Last week we had to fly home for my grandmother's funeral.  The upside of that was visiting with lots of family who wanted to spoil my kiddos.  Since Easter was in a few days, almost all the activities involved eggs and baking.  This brought lots of joy to our sad hearts and a fun distraction for the kids.

The first egg hunt was at Grandpa and Grammy's house.

Our second egg hunt was at Aunt Kelsey and Uncle Scott's house.  We baked Resurrection Rolls...our family tradition at Easter.  They are so yummy and a great visual way to explain the Easter story.  Kelsey and the older kids read the Easter story using Resurrection Eggs...their family tradition.  Finally, we dyed eggs with all the kids.
